the eagles need to lose 1 of the next 2 for it to be for the nfc east lead. dallas has houston and jax so they likely will not lose.

even if the eagles dont lose, it will still have meaning, but not too much. lets say the eagles lose that. all theyd need to is beat NO and NYG at home to win the nfc east and #1 seed.

Cowboys are the consensus second best team in the NFC, especially with Jimmy G done. Nothing I saw today would have me put them ahead of the Birds. Nor will any national analysts be convinced the Cowboys are better.

Eagles scored more points against the Titans in the first half than any team has scored against the Titans in an entire game since mid-September. They made a really good defense look impotent, and on the defensive side they erased Derrick Henry without even really playing Jordan Davis (6 snaps). When comparing roster to roster, the Eagles have either a clear advantage over or a close match to anything the Cowboys can offer, outside of the second level of the defense. Areas in which the Eagles are clearly better include QB and head coach.

Oh yeah and the Eagles also did that without getting any turnovers and having to overcome a billion penalties. This wasn't a game where they benefitted from lucky bounces or feasted on Tennessee mistakes. They just beat the shtein out of them.
