It'll be probably the biggest trade ever.

They mention they didn't like the average annual value but who gives a farg? $440M is $440M whether it's backloaded or not.

2 top 15/20 prospects and some other ML ready players is the bare minimum. likely whoever does it will have to eat some of the corbin and/or stras contracts. i think its a little too complex to do now, more likely the winter.

the comp was the miggy cabrera trade (soto is younger). anyone remember what he was dealt for? andrew miller and cameron maybin. big prospects then...in the end they were solid players but nothing special.

I went to a Carolina Mudcats game once like a decade ago and Cameron Maybin had like 5-6 steals or some nonsense, guy looked amazing.

The Home Run Derby was a lousy production.  From the anthem to the camera work to the graphics to the announcers, it was awful.
