The M's gave up 3/5 of their top prospects and five total. So yeah they're out on Soto but it would've been nice to see him there. I've always kinda liked the Mariners and would like to see them do well. Their teal hats with the blue bills in the 90's were smooth.

So if Luis Castillo fetches that haul...ya gotta think the other sellers are licking their chops

regardless of whatever moves they seem best case scenario stuck as a 5/6 seed which means a 3 gamer on the road vs atl/nym/mil just to get in. same spot as the phillies.

much like sosa, a great defensive player having an unplayably miserable 2022 after a very solid 2021. phillips had an 103 ops+ last year and was 244/337/533 against RHP. thats quite solid.

will players who stunk for the rays and cardinals, two of the most competent orgs in the game, magically do well for the phillies? why yes of course they will
