these are 2 wins as good as theyve had in a while...battle of the wills against a deeper and better team and theyve pulled it out.

the issue is these are the phillies and what goes up must come down. this little swing will be followed by getting swept at home because mediocrity always finds its center

most starters can barely make it 5...hitters are too good and the average SP cant sustain the velo needed/doesnt have the stuff to get past a 3rd time through the order

wins stopped mattering to baseball at large when king felix won the cy young at 13-12, but urias was 20-3 (!) with a 2.96 ERA and nearly 1.00 WHIP and he wasnt even in the cy young conversation

i need to see like a month+ of this level of play before im going to believe anything has changed
