You work in the federal government.  I guarantee you've met them.  You don't socialize with them and they don't beat the drums openly, but you've met them.

There's not a single day that goes by where I'm not infected by them.  Obviously that's because I live in the south, but a lot of the people I went to high school in New Jersey are Trumpers.  It's a cult, dude.

Here's a surefire way to know if you've met someone who's a trumper; did they ever leave their home town?

Actually I'm one of two white people in my branch and my division is 90% minorities.  But work aside I've sat at a couple bars around here where someone was a trumper but I've never actually known one.  And that's like two times since he came down the escalator.  Just lucky to live where I do and why you are doing the right thing with your daughter.

I'll be 59 in 2024.  Me being armed is pointless.

My kid will be living in a northeastern state safe(r) from the ravages of Republican fascist lunacy that has swept the south.

I'm good with that.

They invaded the capital in a liberal ass area there's nowhere safe.

this is not true....first of all none of the J6 people were actually from DC

also I've never met a trumper

The guy who drove to Philly to shoot up the polling place was from Virginia. They travel.

This milf bartender with massive cans gave me her number Saturday night. My buddy graduated high school with her, he said she's a huge Trumper...Karen (not her real name) can eat shtein we ain't getting along. Point being I wouldn't have spit game to her if I had any hint she was a Trumper. You've met one before but unless they're wearing MAGA shtein a lot of them keep their opinions to themselves unless they're provoked then it's rant and rave time. Nobody whines worse than a Trumper.

We've had a nice life here.  I won't lie or make excuses for choices I made thirty years ago, but considering what I read on social media from former friends, it's not like geography made any difference.

The people I grew up with are hard core conservatives now.  Most of us were surfers who liked to party and play sports too but I didn't vote for Reagan and no one I knew really gave a shtein about politics either.  I think what happened as they got older is they regretted their choices and took comfort in what the tea party and then later Trump represented to them.  It's amazing that it happened that way but it did.

I would have been miserable in that environment.

If I had it to do all over again I would have moved to a way more liberal area, but in 1991 America was nothing like it is now.  This was a sleepy beach town and my first house cost $42K.  It would have been five times that where I grew up.

Whatever.  My life is at least 3/4 over and as long as my kid gets the hell away from here and goes to a place where she will be valued and accepted, I'll call it a win.

99.9% of them never cared or barely voted in the past...certainly closely didnt pay attention. its all white grievance thats driving this. stupid white people feel like theyre getting left behind and trump is the vessel to keep the other (black brown young gay woman non binary liberal, etc) down. the whole thing feeds off negativity, jealousy and hatred and its wrapped in fake patriotism and jingoism.

As a parent with some experience, I can say: There is no tantrum quite like the one that follows removal of an unearned but long-enjoyed privelage.

i never look or care about cable tv ratings but i find this interesting because cable tv penetration (thats the word you virgins) is about 20-25 million households lower than it was a decade ago. yet these numbers are pretty much better than ever for fox. this is some serious deranged cult shtein where a very specific audience *needs* this channel like we need water

I know a sideline reporter who works the NFL.  There are only so many of these jobs, so Tafoya's exit bodes well for him.

As for her ignorant politics and foray into Conservative grifting, meh.  This is the best they can do?  An aged-out sideline tart?

shes angling for a spot on the view or fox and friends...she really wants to run for office but her family isnt ready for it yet. so this is the first step for that, grifting on a white nationalist tv show.

i think she needs to up her game and call kap "boy" but what do i know about that world

I know nothing about the view but I thought it was above stuff like CRT....that the people on the show that represent the right were like George bush republicans not MAGA
