two of the top five or six highest new-cases-reported in a 24 hour period have been in the last last week or so...even as numbers of tests are declining, and it's the middle of summer when everyone is out doors....this winter is going to be brutal

Today, the superintendent of my school district announced that masks would be mandatory, with no opt-out. There is a board meeting tonight. It's been the expected shteinshow, with doctors shoved trying to get into the building, and red necks fighting each other in the parking lot.

DeSantis has promised to issue vouchers for private schools for parents that want to pull kids out because of mask mandates.
