So, as I reported this morning on @MandMWFAN, Source has told me that the Browns and Vikings are in discussions on a trade that would send @obj to the Vikings for a 2nd and 5th round pick next year. Trade is not done, but the deal is being discussed.

The question is if you were Howie would you trade a 2nd and a 5th for a top 5 talent at wr who's a nutcase diva?

General_Failure

Who cares about a fifth round pick? They gave up a third mid season for Golden Tate who didn't help them at all, and they can't draft receivers for shtein. You totally take that chance.

ice grillin you

i wouldnt do it just because i dont think there will be a season this year and im not giving away two picks for a guy who is not going to give you one of his prime years when they have had only ten draft picks the last two years

if everything was normal right now id probably do it
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Rome

I would do that in a second.  Can you imagine him against the divisional opponents?

Good god.

If that's the case, do you see if you can find someone to trade next year's picks for this year's?

big picture i dont know that i would employ it as a grand strategy but i would 100% have that on my mind....small picture this is arguably the best WR class ever in a year where the position is your greatest need by far...its also a little different losing a wr's age 27 year versus their age 21 year

I wouldn't do it. Teams just don't seem to win SBs with WRs with that diva spotlight whore gene.

Diomedes

Who was the last team won that you could say had a real headcase WR?

QB Eagles

Depends on how you define headcase. Tyreek did repeatedly punch his lady right in the fetus.

Eagaholic

Yeah, I'm not even talking about the total head cases like Antonio Brown or TO, - maybe '02 Bucs with Keyshawn Johnson was last team to win? I wouldn't even put Randy Moss in that category, but guys like Dez or OBJ, imo they aren't worth the impact on team chemistry, which is key.

Top tier WRs are out, the NFL is all about scrappy receivers and top tier TEs.

Greg Ward - diva gene = SBz!
