i'd actually watch two more hours of this tonight.  great debate. nothing's going to change other than people making fun of bloomberg but fun to watch.

This.

And I'm always impressed by Pete in this setting, but I don't get the strategy of dive bombing Klobuchar.  I get that he wants her out but he needs her voters and that's not the strategy to make it happen.

MDS

i would watch 1000 more hours of warren carving up racist loser mike bloomberg

but really these idiots spent 2 hours yelling and bernie walked out with no upcoming media narrative that could hurt his expected delegate lead
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I must have tuned in at a bad time. I watched for maybe 2 minutes and found it beyond cringe worthy, painful even. Biden had a stroke mid-sentence, or maybe started speaking in tongues. Whatever it was is apparently contagious and has a 3 second incubation period because Klobuchar caught it and was even more nervous and almost as incoherent. Couldn't even spit out her rehearsed response to the president of Mexico question. Meanwhile Bloomberg stood there deer in the headlights with the most predictable line of attack he'll ever see. Bernie was being Bernie and came off best because he was the only one aware of the human need to breathe. I didn't hear Mayor Pete. For his age his CV is impressive as all farg but ...mayor? ...Of South Bend?? From what I saw dems need to get their shtein together big time if we are to avoid another 4 years of Trump. Or 8, or whatever.

phattymatty

Klobuchar is lame anyway but that Mexican host really had it out for her.

And what a disaster for Bloomberg. How can you not have a semi-decent answer for the stop and frisk question? He came back a little at the end but that was an all time bad first hour for him.

sounds like it was par for the course for debates now...I read a couple reviews of it and there was no foreign policy talk very little trump talk and almost no social issue talk...just bickering like farging children and for an hour arguing over health care for the millionth time

one breakdown had a list of every debate question and who asked it and holy farging shtein were the moderators bad especially chuck todd...it's not about policy it's about how to get people in fights

unless you like reality tv shows I don't know how you all watch this garbage

also trump was by far the biggest winner of the night

I didn't watch and that was the main reason - these debates are nothing but who can elicit responses from others bc of them lobbing grenades at each other.

When I read the decals and watched some of the clips that's all they showed.

farging news media and social media have ruined it. All about the clicks and ratings. That's how we ended up with Cheeto Dick.

Dems need to get their farging shtein together.

that ship sailed

the debate aside just in general they are handing another four years to trump on a silver platter by constantly  talking about who the biggest socialist is...can you imagine the giddyness within the RNC if this happened just once!...yet its all that happens...and the leader right now is an admitted on camera socialist...you cant make this up...btw hes also super white 80 and about to die of heart failure...yeah lets run that guy!!

the only hope is that there is a massive silent majority of moderate suburban women and other less specific constituencies but just a coalition in general who just abhor a white supremacist mafia don in the white house because no one from this pool of dem candidates is winning the election...they just gotta hope trump loses it

Meanwhile this was the only time they actually discussed "socialism" outside of when republicans like Pete or Bloomberg decided to call Sanders one

Not anything new, but still worth posting every piece of evidence so it's not forgotten the next time the deficit is used as an excuse for why we can't have healthcare

The right calls Buttigieg an extremist and the left a Republican.

The pics of Bernie's houses are funny.

Isn't Buttigieg's HC plan basically an extension of the ACA?  His campaign and the Sanders campaign don't get along.  That doesn't mean his policies are GOP policies.
