Pretty confident that what I'm talking about is backed up by science (not to mention history).  Liberal thinking makes room for/values dissent, criticism, questioning, debate, and of course, changing your mind.  Conservative thought makes room for/values obedience to authority, acceptance of traditional rules, adherence to received knowledge, and rigidity of conviction.  As a matter of fact, people who tend liberal are less fearful, more open-minded, and less likely to surrender their own ideas to others for the sake of unity of cause.  Conservatives tend to be more fearful, less open-minded, and more likely to discount their own thoughts in service to a cause.

We're all in agreement on here no matter who the Dem candidate is they're getting our vote.

My concern is the black vote and independent voters. We're seeing record turnouts in elections so the left is woke, but they need to stay away from a far left candidate. Hate Trump all you want, I agree the economy numbers are severely inflated, the wealth gap has grown even more, and our debt is going through the roof...but he can tout the economy as a strong suit and Joe average voter only looks at numbers like unemployment. It's also hard to unseat an incumbent with a 35% built in base. So go Joe. He's old and going senile but he's our best hope. Warren is a worse candidate than Hillary. Trump and his cronies will smear her as a radical socialist.

Warren's big policy, the wealth tax, is more popular than even a public option in health care is. Bernie gets young people activated like a mofo. The rest of the "contenders" all have varying appeals to voting blocs that HRC couldn't hope to touch because of her awful personality. She did great with black voters too, but it was the young black vote that didn't trust her. Is there reason to believe they'll trust Joe Biden? Eh. Polling numbers say otherwise at the moment.
