yeah, London is a world class city and everyone to a person I know that has gone there wants to go back or has gone back.

that said, personally I think if there is a team going to vegas, why not Amsterdam ? I mean, cmon !

phillies will be under 500 this year...book it

Yeah, I don't see how the game would be a distraction unless you're only going for like 3 days. If you go for like 5-7 days, spending a few hours at the stadium isn't going to interfere. I've been there twice. Would love to go back.

Not sure what the tailgating scene is like over there though...or if it's even a thing. Probably just pre/post game in a bar close to the stadium.

its probably all pubs. before soccer game everyone goes to a pub and gets sloshed. dumb white people across the globe have that in common -- getting drunk before dumb sporting events.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

QB Eagles

The NFL has some giant block party shtein for the games but it's probably lame. Pub is the way to go.

London is a great city. I've been there for work, for my son playing there, and just for fun...and it was great regardless of the reason for the trip.

QuoteBears are setting up an interview with Eagles QB coach John DeFilippo for later this week, sources tell me. His work with Carson Wentz has made him a legit candidate.

I'm not sure what makes a guy a hot head coaching commodity because he coached a #2 draft pick for a couple of years.  I couldn't pick him out of a lineup either but that means less than nothing.  If he gets the gig, good for him.  Dougie Coaching Tree and shtein.  Lol.

And a lot are HOF's.  Is it the coaching after two years or is it the kid playing?   I mean Wentz has had Dougie for two years.  Does Wentz's pkay make Doug any less of a clueless stooge?

Not to mention he came from a d2 school. Anyone think Wentz is this good with the Browns?

QB Eagles

Imagine if you own a franchise and the coaching market is so thin that you know the most qualified coach available for your team might realistically be a retread like Mike Munchak. Munchak never had the luxury of a quality QB or GM during his previous head coaching job, and still managed to coach a basically .500 team (albeit in an awful division).

Do you pull the trigger on Munchak knowing that your fans will be bored to tears by the pick and slam you in the media, or do you select a hyped young unknown like John DeFilippo who you can promote as being the 2018 model of Sean McVay? Especially if you're a team looking to draft a new QB.

The answer to that question is why DeFilippo is probably outta here this offseason. Whether he is truly responsible for Wentz is fundamentally unknowable. Even if there is only a 20% chance, that may be enough for some of these desperate teams.

imagine being the giants with the number two pick in the draft taking a young qb to build around in an offense driven league and hiring jim schwartz as your HC
