Baby Driver was fun.  It has somehow already become overrated by people who loved it and underrated by people who are slamming it as a reaction to the buzz.

loving - super bland retelling of the loving case...a story that was filled with drama retold in a movie that contains absolutely no drama...watch the documentary instead

jackson - infuriating documentary about the state of mississippi trying to close down its one remaining abortion provider....the antagonist in this will make you wanna murder more than just babies

gotten thru 2.5 episodes of the defiant ones....its not perfect but worth watching just for the old footage...particularly the in studio footage they have...lots of shtein ive never seen and im assuming never shown before anywhere

I commented on this in the tv thread because it's a tv documentary. 

However, the fourth episode that has Eminem in it is pretty farging astounding.  I won't ruin it, but Dre is a mad farging genius in the same vein as Brian Wilson.  Not quite as loony but almost...

I preferred the first two parts just because there was so much never before seen footage

the second half was good but just a rehash of already documented well known stuff...also part 4 basically turned into an infomercial for iovine and dre's businesses

wonder woman - easily best DC hero movie not directed by chris Nolan.

Had no interest in seeing the new Spider-Man...the thought of another reboot of the same character within a 15 year time frame is absurd. But my daughter wanted to see it so I took her. It's not a reboot, it's more of a tie in between Spider-Man and the Avengers. They thankfully stay away from all the Spider-Man origins Uncle Ben death shtein. The movie was great. It changed just enough stuff around to be new, had the Avengers type humor in it, and was just fun to see. Solid summer flick.

Gonna check out the new Planet of the Apes next. I caught Dawn of the planet of the apes the other day and thought it was decent.

There's a new Jumamji coming out starting the Rock. Thought the original was decent but for whatever reason I'm interested in seeing it.

No idea what to expect out of Dark Tower because I never read the books, but Stringer Bell squares off against Rustin Cohle so I'll probably check it out.

Dark Tower books are great.  Trailer resembles the books not at all.  Looks awful.
