Don Ho

John Lynch to be next GM in San Francisco
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

Could he be a worse hire than Matt Millen was? No, but he'll certainly be fired quicker.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Rome

QB Eagles

HOF:

LaDainian Tomlinson
Terrell Davis
Jason Taylor
Kurt Warner
Morten Andersen
Jerrah
Kenny Easley

I kinda like that Davis and Warner got recognized for their short career peaks, because both of them were utterly dominant when they were at their peaks. I'll always prefer that to "pretty good for a long time" picks like Art Monk.

Owens, Dawkins, and Lynch seem like the biggest snubs. I understand not voting in the safeties but putting an owner ahead of TO is bullshtein.

Rome

Terrell Davis only had three great years and the only reason he got in is because of John Elway.  That's it.  The HOF isn't supposed to be a place where guys who had a few great years gain entry.  Longevity and extended greatness should be the two main criteria and he doesn't meet either of them.

I don't get the TD outrage.  How do you define longevity for a position that has an average career length of 3 years?  He had 4 healthy seasons, topped 1100 yds in all of them and 2000 yds once. Dude played in 8 playoff games and only failed to rush for 100+ yds in one of them (91 yds). And in those 8 games, he totaled 1100 yds rushing.

Are you also outraged about Kurt Warner?  He had a couple great seasons in the beginning, then was really bad and injured for a bunch of years, then was pretty good again for a couple years at the end.  Why aren't you bitching about him?

Kurt Warner is white so Rome loves him (alt-facts)

QB Eagles

In 1998 Terrell Davis rushed for over 2000 yards and over 20 TDs, and put the ball on the ground only twice all season. And he led his team to winning the Super Bowl. If anyone ever replicates that, I wouldn't mind them getting a free pass to the HOF either.
