Give it maybe five years before all playoff games are prime time games on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

The man. The myth. The legend.

MDS

if they ever expand to 7 playoff teams one wild card game will probably be on a monday. thats about it.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

As for SD...I have heard that place is awesome. Never heard a bad thing about it

great city to visit...living there seems difficult unless you have money to burn. plus everything cool seems congregated to the downtown/gaslight district. its perfect for a day trip/weekend, but id guess that scene gets old fast if you live there.

also the pit/kc game was moved to 820 because of "safety concerns." my guess is this doubles as a test run for getting rid of 100 sunday playoff games and moving them to primetime. will drastically change the playoff schedule going forward if it happens.

Huge ice storm projected to hit KC is why they moved it, Sorkin Jr.

Phreak, SD is not just 'gaslamp' area.

Places of note:

-Gaslamp district
-Balboa Park
-Old San Diego
-Beaches
-University Area

-20 minutes from Tijuana
-45 minutes from Rosarito Beach
-60 minutes from Ensenada
-60 minutes from Mexico's Wine Country
-90 minutes from Tecate

-2 hour flight to Cabo San Lucas

(That's just the little I know), but like MDS said, its not cheap to live there. it just doesn't have the rat-race feel to it.

Sgt PSN

SD is chill as hell. I'd definitely live there if col wasn't off the charts high.

smeags

so, to summarize, SOCAL is not a bad place to visit for say, a football game.

It's not a bad place to visit but it might be a bad place to visit for a football game.

All of these things are awesome. Especially Rosarito. PB/OB are great beach towns. You forgot to add Vegas is only a 4 hour drive. I don't know if it was the Navy, that I had been away from Philly for 9 years, or I was just sick of Cali, but it all wore on me. There are more fake/pretentious people there, everyone is from somewhere else, the sports scene is a joke, and all the stupid hood rats are wannabe gangstas.

I miss SD, might go back soon, but overall I'm happier in Philly.

I'd like to do a road trip there for a Phils series

i loved the stadium....great location and amenities.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

irsay offered gruden the colts job and he turned it down...also wants peyton to run football ops

hopefully this is the last of the gruden rumors. if he doesnt want to coach andrew luck in his prime he doesnt want to coach anymore.

He may just not want to coach under Irsay.
