So do they wait until after they're smoked by Atlanta to do the obligatory bad team Team Meeting or do it this week?

Already did it after the game today - Jenkins called them together

I'm starting to think that Pederson is Andy's way of grudge farging the Eagles.

Touche fat man.

Not sure what to make of Jim Schwartz this season. They've had games where the defense has been great and had games where it looks very pedestrian. Meanwhile Rod Marinelli in Dallas with no pass rush and mediocre corners has his team tackling soundly, flying to the ball, and covering well. With very little defensive talent.

Whenever someone says "Well Jim Schwartz just doesn't have the horses" I look right there in the NFC East and see another less lauded coordinator having his team over-performing. That's what good coaching does. Squeeze a little extra out of the talent when most think there is none left in the bottle.

Cowboys have played nothing but zesty offenses.

Dallas is giving up 17.5 points per game, Eagles are giving up 18.1 The Eagles have 8 interceptions, Dallas has 4. 9 forced fumbles each, Dallas recovered 6 and the Eagles recovered 7. Eagles are doing better defensively in yards per rush and passing yards per game, but Dallas is way better with yards per pass. Somehow, statistically, they're both top 10 defenses.

You'd have to imagine they'd both look like the dogshtein they are if they weren't playing each other and the AFC North.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Wentz has been awful.  3-0 start against horrible competition, yes i do include Pittsburgh, was a facade.  Once division play began the stupidity of the offense and its head coach plus the ignorance of the DC has been exposed.  They just aren't very good and they really have little talent at key positions.

He's a rookie. Most of you would have taken a 4-4 start to open the season. Eagles have been in every game. If a few things go their way, they're 8-0.

If you're suddenly surprised because we don't have any weapons on the team, you're just a fool. For the first time in forever, I have hope for this team. Not this season, but in one to two years. A more experienced Wentz will make average receivers an actual threat. I'm hoping they address the WR position next season.

Season is not over. They'll put it together.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

It's not a huge sample size, but I think I've seen enough of Pederson now.  I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he was hired, said that I won't rip him until he gives a reason to.  It's not about a couple of dumb calls yesterday. It's not about the 4th qtr last week.  It's about the last month and it hasn't been good.

As for Wentz, I'm cool with rookie speed bumps and all, but I don't know that he's just having rookie issues right now.  His picks yesterday weren't rookie mistakes.  They were terrible throws. And for whatever reason, he's not the same pre-snap savant that he was the first few weeks. I still have hope for him because players can be fixed through good coaching, practice, and film work. Coaches are who they are and they don't change.  Except Hoodie.  Hoodie gets it.

He's been playing worse because of Pederson's terrible coaching. There's no reason to have your rookie QB pass 50 times

Pederson is using Sproles as his workhorse.  If that is any indication of his grasp of NFL football, there's no need to keep watching these clowns until he's gone.
