they added one additional national window and flipped the sunday/monday products. it has nothing to do with over saturation. its first and foremost the quality of the matchups and the competitiveness of the games. the election is a factor. trump's base is uneducated meatheads which of course is your typical nfl fan. also DFS web traffic is down big so that might have something to do with it.

the colts/texans game was down because it sucked. the cowboys/packers game at 430 was up significantly from previous years. it was a close game between two big teams. does this fit the narrative you lifted from twitter?

in the 70s and 80s when there was 1 national window (monday night), it was a big deal because that was literally the only game available to the entire nation. now every game is available to the entire nation. in every sport. if theres an over saturation of football, theres also an over saturation of cfb, nba, politics, game of thrones, lumbar, your bets, my swollen cock and on and on and on.
