stranger things - def up my alley. secret government programs, experiments gone wrong on the run, sci-fi feel.

oh, and a winona ryder sighting.

Just watched it tonight... that shtein was great. Animators had a fun time with that one.

Mr Robot has been pretty zesty so far this year which makes me sad after season 1

I thought the first season was good, but the accolades were over the top for a show that seemed kinda like what a college kid would write after watching too much Fight Club and American Psycho. Good show, nothing more. Second season has straight up sucked balls. Creator got lost up his own ass I assume. Cinematography is still great but that doesn't make a show. The low point of what I've seen so far has to be that rant about organized religion last week, which contained nothing any smart 14 year-old hasn't thought. 2edgy4me. I assume the decent reviews it's getting are goodwill from last season. Once the first major critic turns on the show and makes it safe for everyone else to criticize, it'll be time to admit that yes, this is a USA Network TV show after all.

Been working my way through the new seasons of both Robot and Bojack, it's only through willpower that I don't watch all the Bojack episodes first because it's a much, much better show.
