Random Eagles Information Still Not Worthy of a New Thread

I got an email a while back about moving my seats, much as I did last year. Apparently it was being done by section, so I could only move two of my four. I called the ticket office, which said that I might get another email for the other pair. It never came.

Yesterday I got the same email as smeags. Precious few seats available, but I browsed a little. I was mostly single seats, scattered all over the upper deck. After maybe an hour there was nothing left.

Guess I won't be hearing about moving any more.

What I find amusing is that with a such a ridiculous waiting list, they felt it was okay to offer additional seats to season ticket holders. Seems a little slimy to me.

I was wondering about the waiting list myself, does seem like a jerk move.

I thought about the seat upgrade a couple weeks back but im good where im at. nice section and there's rarely ever an incident there.

the email from last week or the last two weeks was to move your existing seats...and there were dozens around the stadium to do that....i have no idea why you could have only moved two of yours....I came super close to moving mine and I have seven

the email this week was to add to your existing seats...like you said there were a handful of singles available for this...the reason it went from dozens during the move of seats to singles that could be added to your seats was because in the time between the two emails they went to the waiting list and knocked off X amount of people...these single seats that were left over were seats where maybe there were four in a row but the waiting list person only wanted three...who off the waiting list is going to get a single?...this doesn't explain how smeags saw two together I assume that was an error

I think the waiting list is massively overblown as far as its stated length...but what they did the last few weeks checks out as far as im concerned

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I had two in 229 and two in 222. My move email applied only to the 229 seats, as the offers (according to the ticket office folks) were sent out by section. I moved those two to the opposite side of the field, to 204. You had the option to move all of yours because they're all together.

Since they apparently shifted from the move process to the add process, I'm assuming that I will never hear about moving my 222 seats. No matter...I'll still be able to manage them.

oh so you only got an email for one pair of your seats?

that messed up but still has nothing to do with the waiting list...that's just a general oversight by the eagles...every section should have gotten an email

Yep. What's worse is that when I made my last ticket payment, they didn't evenly divide it between the two sets of seats, so one of them showed up as being past due. When I called, the guy checked on it and rebalanced the money so that they both showed correctly. I'm wondering if the one set was "not in good standing," so that prevented the email from going out.

The part I originally mentioned was that the second email was an offer for current season ticket holders to acquire additional seats. That's where the waiting list comes in. Apparently they pushed the few available seats to current ticket holders before they sent out offers to folks on the waiting list.

unless something went on behind the scenes that you know about and i don't this I don't believe is true...after the relocation email came out i called and emailed the eagles to see if i could add seats to my account and they told me I couldn't that I couldn't only relocate...that they had to go to the waiting list first.....

then a week after that is when I got the email saying I could add seats...and when I looked there were only a handful of singles which clearly were the leftover move seats that remained after the waiting list people gobbled the rest up

there were def seats together that were available at first the other day. numerous in fact. section 228, right next to mine had four together. by the time I went to grab two of those they were all gone.  the two I went for, and got screwed on, were next to each other in 239.

It certainly seems strange the way they worked things. But it's all smoke and mirrors - same as it ever was - behind the curtains at the ticket office.

smeags

now that wentz is signed, do they have enough room to give cox an extension ? believe they were $9.7mil(including cox's $7.7mil number) under before the wentz deal.

I don't understand why so many people are so worried about Cox's contract.

smeags

im not so much worried, more curious. I know they'll re-sign him. when and how much are the questions.

but it's may, and there's not much else to talk about.
