Patriots just traded Chandler Jones to the Cards for Jonathon Cooper and a 2nd round pick

Guess they don't want to pay him or think he's going to be a problem guy with a new deal.

Cards beef up and Pats get an OL they needed, provided Cooper can become a player.

QB Eagles

Pats also needed some picks.

Wheeling and dealing continues: Bears are trading TE Martellus Bennett to Patriots for draft-pick compensation, league sources tell ESPN.

Gronk and Bennett

Pats haven't had this much fire power at the TE position since....well, you know.

QB Eagles

The Pats are getting to the point with Gronk where they might just bench him in every game that doesn't matter too much for the playoffs.

Okung to the Broncos...5/$53M.  Looks like Clady is getting traded, more likely released

QuoteMore than four years after Colts owner Jim Irsay and quarterback Peyton Manning bade each other farewell at a joint press conference in Indianapolis, they're reuniting for a joint press conference on Friday.

The topic of the press conference is specifically unknown. The far safest guess is that the Colts will announce plans to retire Manning's number and place him in the team's Ring of Honor.
Actually I think it is to announce a major trade. Irsay is giving Payton Manning  900 Vicodin in exchange for 30 human growth hormone shots.

Ravens CB Tray Walker just died.

I've been riding motorcycles for over 40 years and it never ceases to amaze me when people ride without helmets.  This guy was riding a dirt bike with no lights, without a helmet and while wearing dark clothing at night.  I'm not saying he deserved to die and I have empathy for his family, but for farg's sake, stop being stupid, Americans.   Just stop it.

Yeah, from what I read so far...farg this guy (and the 12 O'Clock Boys too).  You ride wild in the streets, endangering lives....sometimes you get run over.  None of these dudes stop in Baltimore when they run someone over.  Pedestrians have been killed to these jackasses.  I say, sorr to his family and shtein, but play stupid games, win stupid prizes.  That's the way it goes.

I didn't know "12 o'clock boys" existed until Dio mentioned it. I guess I don't know things.

It's a pretty magnificent scene when a gang of 'em 75 strong or more plows through.  As many as a dozen four wheelers, scores of dirtbikes, and then a contingent of scooters, etc.  I've seen one of the old three wheelers out on the street.  Then there are other hangers-on.  People in cars riding ahead trying to clear intersections.  others filming.  It's some shtein.   For every big ride like that, there are dozens of small rides by smaller groups, throughout the city, at all times, all days.  They do this in other cities but it's biggest in Baltimore because the cops aren't allowed to give chase.  This is a shocking rule, but if you think it through, good one.  Keeps the headcount down.  Some people do die.  The riders do run over pedestrians.  And kill them.  Then there are the accidents with vehicles.   I know of one case in which a motorist who hit one of the riders stopped, according to law and custom, and was mob beaten and hospitalized.  A citizen.  A decent driver/person could easily hit one of these folks, too.  They literally wheelie through red light intersections at speed during all hours.  It's pretty farging insane.   Mad Max, lawless, shtein.  I hope to hell it never happens, but if one of these dudes gets under my wheels, I am not stopping.  I'm calling 911 for directions to the nearest police station.

I rather doubt guys who ride are all mopey about this dude.  They're a pretty fatalistic lot.  That's life.

farg those irresponsible douchebags.  I hope every last one of them dies in agony.

Also - speaking of useless iceholes I hope die in agony, Johnny Eightball signed with Drew Rosenhaus.  Because of course he would.
