Anyone seen a good movie lately?

Both are A+ movies but in terms of long-term watch-ability, for me, it's Goodfellas.

Someone Recut the New Ghostbusters Trailer and Made It So Much Better

I don't know about "so much better" but they definitely made it better.

The main way the fan recut is better is that it is less than half the length. If they had made a five second version with just the Ghostbusters logo and music, that would have been even better.

If I had seen that trailer instead of the actual trailer, I'd probably think this movie is going to suck, but I definitely wouldn't think it's going to suck as hard as I do having seen the original trailer.

But after the Star Wars trilogy Goodfellas is my favorite all time movie.

Watched Sicario last night. Overwrought nonsense. Its entire point was to build tension, which it accomplished, but once you get past the tension the story and writing and cultural points it makes were all really bad.

Still, Emily Blunt gets three boners up. And what the hell, I'll give Benicio a boner as well. I'm an equal opportunity boner distributor.

finally made it through ex machina last night.  took me 3 or 4 attempts because i kept falling asleep. i really expected a lot more based on stuff i've read about it.  it was pretty boring.  only payoff was finally seeing nekkid robot chicks.

Overall, that was really well done, except:

The Qui-gon looking Jedi was wearing duck boots.
When did Bane become a Jedi?
The designs on Darth Maul's face seemed a bit off/different.
Both chicks were really bad, especially the one that lasted the longest. Her fake fighting in the last fight scene was turrable.

Not bad. Would really like to see a full movie on maul. They expanded on his character in the animated clone wars series but I'd like too see more on the big screen.

Yeah that was pretty cool. Acting of course was a little clunky but for being an amateur movie that was good.

He was the best thing about Episode 1, would love to see him get one of the spin off movies they're planning on doing. I read one of the books about him that came out and it was pretty good, would make a decent movie.

I'm pretty sure Disney already announced they're doing a bunch of "prequel spinoffs" that concentrate on some of the characters and their lives before the series. I'm not up on the rumors like SD probably is but I remember a lot of people were saying Boba Fett, Han, and Yoda were favorites to get their own movies.

I'd be cool with Boba Fett and Yoda movies. Not so much Han though. I'm really not interested in seeing someone besides Harrison Ford in that role, not to mention that I really don't care about Han's back story either.

What's the back story?  How he was a good kid who made zesty life choices and was eventually killed by his own son?  Seen it. It's called the first 6 episodes of Star Wars.
