I still find it strange as hell to waste a roster spot on Brand. The Sixers are running their own Big Brothers Big Sisters program. I read that at one point Brett Brown asked Brand if it was okay to ever make him active. It's like a boss going up to a guy in the office, "Hey I know you're just here to farg around on the Internet and collect a paycheck, but if we ever get a lot of work is it okay if I ask you to do some?"

Since he dresses like this on the bench, why not just make him a "coach"? Or would moving him over to "management" make him ineligible to be Jah's professional best friend?
