I believe the Dassey step father and the other Dassey kid did it. I also found the ex boyfriend and her brother to be questionable too (erased voicemail and logging into her Cingular acct by guessing). Her brother actually works for the Packers.

The defense team of Strang and Buting seemingly did a good job despite the inability to include a third party into the mix and offer an alternative.

More info keeping coming out like the juror who was a volunteer with the sheriff dept and his son was a sgt there at the time. And the other juror who said they were basically forced into a guilty vote out of fear.

I mean they initially had seven for not guilty when the jury convened

I guess because of your background you were more into the trail stuff than me or most but I thought eps 1 to about 2.5/3 were by far the best part....once he was charged with the murder I kind of lost interest and the trails were interminably boring...also thought everything after the guilty verdicts was unnecessary

I was late to the game i guess but just binged on this shtein yesterday. I imagine they took some liberties with the filming because the online detective shtein going on right now is exactly what they're looking for. That being said, I hope this opens the case up again. My gut says that neither of them were involved but the filmmakers shot this shtein in such a way so we all think that. Good for them.

I would like to think that dude is not dumb enough to spend 18 years in jail as an innocent man to do something despicable within a year. But then again jail changes a dude.

I just hate cops in general and the DA and most of them just seem like disgusting humans so I hope they get another chance.

All the more reason for him to be framed - bc the county insurers wouldn't cover the settlement and it would come directly from the county itself

Avery poured gasoline on the cat before nuking it at 19 years old.  The show edited Brendan telling his mom on the phone when he said he guessed the answers the cops were looking for that he even explained to the cops how Steven would touch him. 

Dude has serious issues.  Doesn't mean he necessarily killed her but doesn't seem like it has to be out of character either.

Oh no doubt - he wasn't a choirboy.

And I know the doc paints him in a more appealing light but I just can't get over how farged that trial was. If it was on the up and up then we aren't talking about it

I've been reading a lot of the stuff on the Reddit forum and there was a lot of evidence that should've been presented or hammered home that wasn't.

If I'm seated on that jury I wouldn't have convicted him.

i admittedly haven't seen a second of the show but i've seen/heard plenty of discussion about it and it seems like it was highly slanted towards Avery almost to the point of being a propaganda film more than a documentary.  i think he did it but the cops planted evidence to make sure he stayed away this time.
