My second cousin died of brain cancer a few years ago. Once a year her mom holds a benefit for research and a rememberance of sorts for her daughter. This year the benefit was in Bridedburg (last night). Parking is horrible. Where we parked dude had a huge confederate flag in front of his house. I'm beginning to think its not as uncommon in the Philly area as we think.

unfortunately its all too common in the neast....funny you mention bridesburg...good friend of mine used to live there right next to the cannonball and his block had a confed flag...my uncle lives near rhawn and rising sun and his block has one as well

I think a few decades ago it was feasible to fly that thing or even get it tattooed on yourself just to represent being a crazy rebellious redneck, but there's been so much outcry about that flag the last 10-20 years that to fly it in 2015 knowing that you're offending people, you pretty much have to be a racist.
