You're really whining that you can't mash three buttons on your remote control to change the antenna input that your TV is set on fast enough for your satisfaction.

if you thinking going back n forth btwn something streaming on one input to a tv station on another input is a small thing and is close to going from a cable channel to a cable channel then i dont know what to say....its the tv equivalent of going from the fastest wifi connection you can get back to dial up

going from tv to hdmi for an extended period of time to watch a movie is nothing....but going back n forth to catch two different events simultaneously is beyond description horrible

how about you watch what you want on tv and keep the awful game that you and nobody else was going to watch anyway open on a browser on your computer

thats sort of the underlining factor in this. they specifically chose this terrible game for this experiment because nobody should care whether they see it or not. its just whiny first world fake twitter outrage going on.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

i dont like two games on at once....i like to concentrate on the game im watching and when theres a chance to come off it then BLAOW!! last channel right to the other game...its physically impossible to watch two things at once so i dont see the point of having multiple screens unless you are not in control such as at sports bar

Just how old is your slow-ass tv that you're actually complaining about this?

your tv doesnt do it either....the difference is you dont care cause you are watching movies or an eagles game and dont care about switching...or i dont know it might not make a big deal to you in general which is fine...just dont try and tell me the two things are even remotely as user friendly or as fast as each other

if you are strictlky talking on a last channel basis with two static events you are interested in then two screens works....but you have to remember i have all the sports packages so its not just a last channel thing for me...like on a friday nite ill be shuffling thru nine nba games....cfb on sat 10 different games...two screens doesnt really do anything for me

and the yes the dvr thing is huge

And at least I'm not a RedZone hater like our boy igy.

Ok here's a question for you Steve Jobs fargers...

We are supposed to get killed with rain this weekend and the heaviest looks like Sunday. I can watch the Eagles game on nbc website right? Just making sure bc I have DirecTV and as you know you can piss on the dish and it'll stop the feed.

smeags

As far as I know, no you can't.

If light rain or wind messes with your signal, then you got a crappy install and your dish either isn't properly secured or it isn't pointed property to obtain the strongest signal....maybe even both.

My first DTV install in KC was crap. If it wasn't sunny, I was getting signal interruption. My 2nd install out there was fantastic and I didn't have any issues other than when the occasional tornado would blow by.

And when I lived in Norf Cackalacka, I had solid signal through a few different hurricanes.  Granted, I was catching a small piece of the storm, but we had some 60+mph winds and exceptionally heavy rain and other than the occasional signal scramble, it was pretty flawless.

My current install is back to borderline suck. Any half decent storm will knock my shtein out, but it handles most of the bad weather.....enough that I haven't bothered calling them to send out another installer. But if you lose signal during minor storms, I'd have them send someone out.

I been toggling input during  commercials  between my console and the game for ten or fifteen years now.  It's been unbearable hell.  All the lost seconds, gone, gone.  Forever.
