i'm a crusty, old doode.  i don't watch any sports talk on tv...none.  i don't even watch pregame or postgame shows.  i'll put the eagles' game on just in time for kickoff.  i stopped caring what the tv "experts" think long ago. 
yeah, i'm pretty much one of the old guys sitting in the balcony on the muppets show.

im sure polian has not left but now that you mention his name i havent seen him for a while...he might be on insiders/nfl live mostly during the season and they got banner to do sportscenter
