Yeah that draw was a kick in the sack.

Billy Davis is the worst.

that was all kiko....watch a replay if you can....he drops back so deep its ridiculous

True he did drop and then allow himself to get blocked enough. Still hate Billy Avis...I'm taking the D outta that iceholes name

no doubt billy dee is brutal....but on that play gotta call it like it was

I'm actually pretty confident line play will improve as the unit works together more. But the second someone along the line gets injured, watch out. The Sanchize will be throwing the ball soon thereafter.

cohesion only goes so far....at the end of the day they have two guards who are terrible no matter how much in sync they get...plus its not like either of them never played....gardner got benched last year for being awful filling in for mathis....they are what they are....two journeymen

And if I'm not mistaken, non of us had a problem if he went OL with the first two picks as the draft was so WR/DB deep.

i saw that...but even so 3rd and 15 and you get an rb 1-1 on the open field. not ideal.

that happens on every draw....but normally you have different levels of protection...so kiko has a chance at the back five yards deep and even if he cant make the tackle one on one...he gets in front of the back while the rest of the defense moves towards the ball....or you take an angle that forces the back to the sideline or into other players...but kiko dropped to basically the first down marker so there was no first layer of protection underneath

Parkey is kind of a turd for missing that FG, but a very poor offensive performance in the 1st half and a terrible defensive performance for roughly 3/4 of the game is what did them in. They weren't ready for prime time. Not the end of the world though. I think this offense is going to be nice as hell. No reason at all to think the secondary has been improved much at all after that performance. Theyll only be as good as the pass rush. If they get no pressure, I just don't see them stopping anyone in the air.

Murray 8 carries 9 yards
Mathews 3 carries 4 yards

Anyone hear Maxwell's response to Jones big game tonight?  Guy giggled like a little school girl when told Jones ate them up for 141 yards and 2 TD.  This organization needs to stop signing high priced free agent defensive backs, track record sucks.

not many corners can cover julio...he's a beast out thurr.

and on the 4th & 1.....fg was def the right call.  you expect an nfl kicker to make a 44 yd fg & you take the lead there.  sure, parkey has been shaky as hell since late last season, but if you don't think he can make a 44 yarder, he shouldn't be on the team.

all around crappy performance though.
lemonade was a popular drink and it still is

Eagles_Legendz

That's missing the point.  The 44 yard fg wasn't to win the game.  Atlanta gets the ball down 1 with tons of time.  That's still likely a L.   If there was 3 seconds left I'd agree but there wasn't.

hunt

nah...you take the lead there & d it up.

but parkey was on the team last night....and he was hurt all preseason and when he did kick he sucked

and lol @ d it up...their secondary sucks and got torched and their supposed great d line got worked as well.....who is going to d up exactly...plus matt bryant is not cody parkey...legendz is right...atlanta wins with a fg there

go for the win for god sakes...problem was 3rd down...big balls got little balls when they couldnt convert there

disappointing but not surprising result last night.  atlanta might not have the horses on D yet but they played max effort last night.  they obviously focused on taking away the run game early but chip has to be able to adjust quicker than halftime.  Bradford played well outside of the interception.  the secondary is bad bad bad

PS results don't mean shtein. But when you watch the execution...of vanilla gameplans at that...and it flat out stinks then you can get a pretty good handle on how prepared a squad is.

completely out coached....horrific out of the gate for an entire half...mad amounts of penalties...

eagles stellar preseason totally prepared them
