i have liked a couple of the xmen movies but spiderman to me hasnt been good since the first one with toby mcguire.

I thought the second one was decent with Doc Oc. The third one they really messed up. Venom is an awesome character but they went the wrong direction.

i thought the Andrew Garfield ones were decent, he was a much better Peter Parker/Spiderman
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

That second one tanked enough that Sony gave Marvel Spiderman back so they could reinvigorate the franchise. So, the second one was a success in that way.

yeah i guess i may be shortchanging that one a bit but yeah the 3rd one was horrible.

i thought garfield was ok as parker but not enough to carry the movies which were weak IMO.

def excited to see spiderman in the marvel world. i assume the rumors are true and he appears 1st in cap #3 civil war.

garfield seems a lot better in the parts of his spidermans i watched but i think thats more of a condemnation of maguire who was just awful in the role than it is garfield being anything special

garfield should have retired after this....

trainwreck was a really solid rom com. wasn't as funny as i expected, more rom than com, but still a good movie. lebron is very lovable.

Every time I go to get something on demand, they pimp that movie. And every time Parson's voice annoys me more and more. So grating.

the one good character in the movie was the one steve martin did the voice for.

Saw Mr. Holmes with the family this afternoon.  No crashes, no special effects, and no flashy bullshtein.  Just good, old-fashioned movie making for adults by extremely talented adults.   Well written, beautiful art direction, music and cinematography and the acting by all concerned was just brilliant.

Just the sort of movie Hollywood refuses to make much of anymore.

McKellan will be nominated for an Oscar but the child in the movie flat-out stole the picture.

A+
