Crazy that Stark was saying this was going to be the biggest start of Hamels' career for the team, even including the WS, and he goes out and throws a no-no.

Yep.

All I could think about was a 94 degree day at Wrigley and Doc Halladay red as a tomato, melting like a candle on the sun. Hamels sucked it up in that god awful heat and did his shtein.

kyle seager is actually pretty good, too. hes 9th among 3B in OPS and 6th in WAR. hitting .274 and on pace to hit 20+ homers. hes not mike trout, but hes a good player.

i have no idea if his brother is going to be good or not, you never know in baseball, but the consensus best prospect is the consensus best prospect. please stick to summer league hoops.

anyway the national reporters are now saying texas is in the lead. i doubt theyd get gallo back, so it probably be their catcher and chi chi to start.

I wouldn't trust Amaro to pump gas into my car. The first thing McFail should have done was to fire his ass. The fact that he didn't or didn't have the power to can him says all that needs to be said about the Phillies. We're back to having to wait a decade or more for them to contend again. That's fine. 2008 wasn't that long ago. I guess I'll have to be content with that until I'm eligible for medicare (15 years to go).
