not that it excuses it but 90% of that poll was taken before his mccain comments...and trump polled much lower in the other 10%

Everywhere you turn there's a Republican corksucking fargface saying the stupidest shtein possible.  It's like they're trying to out-do each other by saying the worst possible shtein.  They really don't think people on the coasts (or with parents who aren't siblings) are going to go for nonsense like this, do they?

that comment is really hurting him?

the republican party is made up almost entirely of christian fundamentalists and lunatics who think obama is a muslim kenyan czar communist socialist racist. youd figure the latter would be all in on trump no matter what.

the party is nowhere near all racist fundy tea partiers....otherwise john mccain and mitt romney would have won nominations....a lot of trumps support come from sane republicans who are tired of milquetoast nominees like mitt romney...rust belt and middle of the country voters who voted for bill clinton and are patriotic as all hell....so while they love trumps bluster his anti washington establishment stance and frankly his entertainment value at this early stage they also will not accept someone questioning john mccains military credentials

so while trumps comments won't sink him especially when the field is this large it definitely will negatively affect his numbers in the long run...he didn't have a chance before this but now with this it probably means he drops out a little earlier than maybe he would have otherwise
