Nice comeback by bums.  4 in the 8th but Giles melts like a stick of butter on Waikiki Beach in August.  Walk, double, men on 2 & 3, no outs.

My Plan for the Phillies
By Reuben Amaro Jr.

1. Trade Cliff Lee for Mike Trout or some minor league guy who is super good like that.
1. Trade Cole Hamels for Mike Trout or some minor league guy who is super good like that.
2. Dom Brown -- this is his year, baby!!
3. Other teams undervalue old guys... find some experienced 40-something guys to lead us! Late 30s at youngest.
4. When in doubt sign a slap hitting Hispanic no one's ever heard of. He could be the next me!!
5. Finalize list of drugs I can put in other GMs' food to make them more receptive to the Howard contract.
6. When agents and GMs and other scary people start using confusing numbers again, ask Pat what to do! -- VERY IMPORTANT
7.  Just go get a whole bunch of really good players. <note to self: fill in details later>
8. If Howard and Utley heat up, DON'T TRADE ANYBODY, we might win W.S. AGAIN !!!!

todays game is extra sickening seeing syndegard....the mets got him and d'arnaud for ra farging dicky and now have THREE young arms at the big league level better than any pitcher/prospect at any level for the phillies (other than heidi) and that doesnt even include zach wheeler

Do it.  Eat some salary and get a young arm.  I have really enjoyed Howard and what he has done for the franchise but the rebuild has to begin.
