amaro's not wrong...the fans are morons, as is all of talk radio and most of the media when it comes to baseball....but as someone who sucks and is a fleshpop he should complain about the fans

Amaro is a smug, dismissive, arrogant douchebag of epic proportions.   The major league team is terrible, old, and completely disgusting to watch while the minor league "talent" is mediocre at best.  He's taken a World Series winner with a nearly unlimited payroll and turned it into a cellar-dwelling laughingstock, yet he has the audacity to attack the fans for expressing displeasure? 

We know all of this.  This is not news.  This team and its ownership are a farging joke and it's going to take a whole lot more than the firing of this jerkoff to get it back to relevance.

It's asanine to say that about your fan base no matter what team you're a coach/gm of, but it's especially idiotic when your team might lose 100 games. Miss interviewed him, he first apologized for his choice of words, then he made a ton of excuses for why he held onto players for too long, even though Miss asked him 2 years ago if he was making a mistake holding onto players for too long. He admitted the direction he took the team in was wrong but said they now have s new approach.

No lie anyone who posts in this thread could have done a better job than he did over the past 5 seasons. He doesn't see trends, doesn't know talent, can't draft, and waited way too long to hit the oversees market.

im in a very small % of highly educated fans....i know this and i dont really care what the gm says. if the team was good it would be a 2 second deal and everyone would go back to the game at hand. since the team stinks, it will be a week long deal because nobody cares about how jerome williams is going to do tonight.
