What a kick in the nuts weekend

They do a horrible job at the game with replays. What the farg was with the illegal shift on the Smith catch. Missed the hold on the Barkley run that pushed them back late. The late PI on the 3rd down stop.

And the most baffling was the intentional grounding. Did they say there was receiver in the area?

All this shtein was gonna catch up to them and it did today.  They just kind of sleepwalk through games. They got bullied in that fourth quarter, just taken in the back woodshed and beaten like a drum.  Luckiest 4-0 team coming in is what it is. 

Ringo is a disaster.

OL stunk.  I think those guys are all damaged goods right now.  They are beat up right now and it's going to be a long season.

Look, Hurts didn't play badly. He just didn't play well enough. He missed reads and he missed throws. Yes, every quarterback misses reads and throws every game, but Hurts missed more, and misses more, than most quarterbacks with 80 starts in the NFL, nine of them in the playoffs, two of them in Super Bowls. He took a sack with less than a minute left, with no timeouts, trailing by four points.

Inexcusable.

Hurts has qualities that lesser quarterbacks, and lesser men, lack. He conditions his body like Arnold Schwarzenegger. He studies the game like Peyton Manning; he even consults Manning. He drills mechanics like Michael Jordan, who also is a mentor. He is an elite runner, an accomplished winner, and a matured leader.

He is entirely acceptable as a quarterback of a perennial NFL contender.

As long as that team doesn't have to throw too much.

they are just such a monstrously boring team to watch. which is what happens you play a backup talent. like the roster is so good they can win games and hurts does enough here and there but my god...watch other qbs play and watch hurts. the gap. THE GAP!

Offensive line is a bigger problem than Hurts IMO

The line got shredded, even the healthy linemen. The play calling is still early Reid levels of awful (even at his worst Westbrook got a whole 9 carries to Saquon's 5). Stupid, easily avoidable penalties everywhere. Kickoff returns look like something out of a pee wee game. Hurts' long ball is still off and is refusing to throw it away more than usual. AJ finally gets what he's been begging for, gets wide open or an easy touchdown, and just gives up. And on top of all that, the defense let Bo Pix dog walk them in the fourth quarter.

Good call on the kickoff return teams GF.  Everything looks like it's in slow motion. They can stop blowing themselves after the blocked kicks. Yes, those were phenomenal but got to start generating some yardage on these KO returns.

They played 5 games, 4 were against top 10 teams. I'm impressed they're 4-1. Said this from the jump, we won't know who this team is till weeks 6-8. It's just the way it is. Priority is getting the running game going.
