Existing? Dude was popped twice in days and didn't show for a court appearance, and seems to have zero respect for the situation, no awareness of his public status, apparently learned nothing from the free fall that was at the behest of what was inarguably a zesty attitude, and comes across as supremely entitled and above the law. You somehow think I'd have a different opinion if he was any shade of whatever? If so, you're patently incorrect.

I mean, if there was ever a guy who should have a chip on his shoulder and lay low as he has his head in the playbook and plots his meteoric rise and redemption arc, it should be this guy. One ticket, bad look, but shtein happens. Two and a missed appearance, not great. But the laughing video about it just flat out stupid for a guy in his situation. It seems like I care far more than I actually do, but it's just so dumb I find it fascinating.

At some point here there's gonna start being some rule changes because the game was not designed with the concept that teams could routinely convert 50+ yard field goals never mind 70.

The thinking was that any kick going that distance would be low enough at the line to be blocked, be short, and if somehow one of those two things didn't happen the kicker would not be accurate enough to hit such a small window from that distance. Even then the penalty for failure is giving the other team the ball practically in scoring position, so you wouldn't even attempt it unless it was right before the half or were unable to attempt a hail mary at the end of the game.

They also changed the rules to not allow the defense to line up over center which gives them a brief window to get that ball through the gap.

So the trick to finally getting to the 100 yard FG is to get the widest center humanly possible.
