I remember when he was announced.  I was working a job in a Jewish household.  Retirees.  Just me and another carpenter.  Homeowners present and known to us.  Friendly setting.  We all stopped to watch as Francis came out.

"Pray for me," he asked.

We all looked at each other.  That's different. 

He didn't seem evil, so if you're talking about a Catholic leader, that's saying something.
