I keep reminding myself that this is the Sixers and something awful will happen soon, but this is the most enjoyable stretch in a very long time. I always thought Doc sucked but even 7 games in this is proof.  They just seem like the smarter team right now, which has never happened since we got Embiid.  And they have some actual <gasp> athletes on the team, dunking the ball and going up hard for rebounds. 

Even more than that their defense was great last night, just swarming everywhere.  Can't believe I'm saying this but Oubre has been fantastic on D, even locked up Tatum quite a few times last night. I'm sure we're getting contract year Oubre but I'll take it. 

Painful final 3 minutes like it always is against the Celtics but that's a game they typically lose.

Nurse has really turned it around. And the mix on the roster has been nice. Oubre and Pat Bev especially.

Holy shtein. That's awful. Glad he's stable and will be ok.

There was just had a huge fatal wreck here that killed ex UH and NFL player DJ Hayden and two other former UH players. Total of six dead due to some dipshtein running a red light.

I'm trying to think of why he would possibly lie about something like that.  Maybe he was railing someone's else's girl again and got beat up?  Doing something that's outlawed in his contract like getting drunk and playing in traffic?  Not even top 10 weird stories around this team over the last decade though.
