What a power move by Darryl getting this dude on the team.  Oubre sucks but I like it.

Team is definitely worse than last year - all time terrible offseason - but if they somehow manage to get Jrue back before the season starts I'm immediately back all-in.  I hate this team.

Myslef and all of us make fun of and lose our shtein over these teams and dislike certain players, coaches, FO's but it is safe to say 99% of this board hates the sixers right now, just pure dislike. I am so glad I am as old as dirt and can remember living the joy of 83 and the days of Julius, the battles with the C's and Lakers in the late 70's to mid 80's. My first man love George McGinnis, watching the Boston Strangler Toney, World B Free, Chuck, AI and that whole incredible ride but this is just sickening. So over JoJo and his schtick, honestly farg um' all.

I am not old enough to remember the 83 squad so my favorite Sixers teams are:
 the '01 finals team
probably the '12 team that beat the bulls
one of the early process teams that won like 12 games how sad is that

I am still very much a fan of Embiid and Maxey. Everyone else involved with the franchise I regard the same as I regard the Flyers. The entire franchise will likely reach Flyers status when they trade Embiid and go back to winning 35 games on the regular.

A Sixers ring would mean more to me than any of the sports but it's just too painful lately.  How can one team be near the top of "good teams" yet still have a 0% chance of winning it all.  It's pretty impressive.    I almost wish for the process years again.  The Ben and now Harden debacles have just sucked all of their juice.  Feel bad for Jojo and Maxey, instead of a fun media day they have to talk about Harden all day.

The list of colossal personnel blunders this team has made over the past decade is pretty impressive. 

Even if they had just taken Jimmy Buckets (who is now channeling his inner Andre 2000 for some reason) their entire course would have been different.

Shame really.

I miss Jimmy's basketball play but I still find him incredibly cringey to root for as a person.  One of those dudes who just tries way too hard to be funny or cool. Pretends he doesn't care but deep down needs people to like him.

Gonna be a long annoying season. Jojo looks just as uninterested as he did in the playoffs. Until this harden shtein show is settled the best part of the team is going to be Maxey and watching springer and bball Paul get better. Oubre is their best player so far this game.
