Nice game.

Crazy to see Carr only need two throws and no timeouts to get into FG position to tie.

The Manning's and Russell Wilson have been good.

It got better as the game went on with those two

My takeaways:
Peyton is great -- it's basically the level of analysis he gave on that "Detail" show
Eli talks just to fill empty airtime
Russ tries too hard to predict plays like Romo

Did you watch the entire production yourself instead of the normal play by play? In addition to it? Did you prefer the living room chat over MNF?

In realtime, I watched the regular broadcast which was farging terrible. Not sure I would prefer this style in general but it's a better watch than the current MNF crew.

Better than MNF isn't saying much, but thanks. I think the NFL is on to something here, giving us Nickelodean games, Manning living room games, etc.

I want a Snoop and Kevin Hart option like the Olympics. They were great.

With the living room style you are even more dependent on the broadcasting quality of the people involved to follow the game. Brett Favre, Joe Montana, and Drew Brees did a Super Bowl living room style that was pretty bad. [Favre was the least bad of the three.]

I would definitely watch an alternative broadcast that sacrificed some broadcast professionalism for more advanced Xs and Os. With Manning I don't think you would have to sacrifice anything because he's charismatic and quick, and obviously has huge name recognition too. But there are probably dozens of faceless NFL podcasters, Youtubers, scouts, etc. that I would prefer over what the networks give us.
