The Raiders have hired Randall Cunningham to be their team chaplain. Can't wait to see Gruden replace him with Rodney Peete in week 2.

The next step in the NFL pretending there's going to be a season is three weeks on IR for anyone who tests positive for the Coronas, so you might as well start betting now which team fails to report it and gets half the team sick, several spouses, and kills an at risk relative.

Wentz gets The Rona and continues his injury prone career

If three weeks on IR frees up a roster spot, there's going to be a lot of high ankle sprains turned into positive test results.

The three days of training camp before they shut it all down are going to be such a clusterfarg.

It took him five months to realize how contagious it is eh?

No preseason games. Please be shocked and surprised when they soon announce no season.

I just need a few games so I can bet.

I'm hoping they literally cancel the season at halftime on the Thursday opener.

It didn't take long for the first player to sign on for the official Opt Out deal rather than get Covid for the team:  Canadian medical doctor / 6th round pick / starting RG from the Chiefs, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif decided $150k stipend and contract tolling to 2021 > 2.3M and Covid.  His statement:

Soyez prudents,
Laurent Duvernay Tardif

QuoteGiven the worldwide sanitary crisis we are currently experiencing, the NFL and the NFLPA have agreed to significant health and safety protocols to protect the players. There is no doubt in my mind the Chiefs' medical staff have put together a strong plan to minimize the health risks associated with COVID-19 but some risks will remain.

This is one of the most difficult decisions I have had to make in my life but I must follow my convictions and do what I believe is right for me personally. That is why I have decided to take the Opt Out Option negotiated by the League and the NFLPA and officially opt out of the 2020 NFL season.

Being at the frontline during this offseason has given me a different perspective on this pandemic and the stress it puts on individuals and our healthcare system. I cannot allow myself to potentially transmit the virus in our communities simply to play the sport that I love. If I am to take risks, I will do it caring for patients.

I want to thank everyone in the Kansas City Chiefs organization for their support and understanding.

Stay safe,

Laurent Duvernay Tardif

hes good and everything but 2 1's for a safety, ehhhhh
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

No chance he's worth that haul plus his contract will be a widowmaker.
