February 2: "We pretty much shut it down coming in from China."

February 24: "The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA... Stock Market starting to look very good to me!"

February 25: "CDC and my Administration are doing a GREAT job of handling Coronavirus."

February 25: "I think that's a problem that's going to go away... They have studied it. They know very much. In fact, we're very close to a vaccine."

February 26: "The 15 (cases in the US) within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero."

February 26: "We're going very substantially down, not up."

February 27: "One day it's like a miracle, it will disappear."

February 28: "Now the democrats are politicizing the coronavirus, you know that right? They're politicizing it...they have no clue...they dont have any clue...this is their new hoax."

February 28: "We're ordering a lot of supplies. We're ordering a lot of, uh, elements that frankly we wouldn't be ordering unless it was something like this. But we're ordering a lot of different elements of medical."

March 2: "You take a solid flu vaccine, you don't think that could have an impact, or much of an impact, on corona?"

March 2: "A lot of things are happening, a lot of very exciting things are happening and they're happening very rapidly."

March 4: "If we have thousands or hundreds of thousands of people that get better just by, you know, sitting around and even going to work — some of them go to work, but they get better."

March 5: "I NEVER said people that are feeling sick should go to work."

March 5: "The United States... has, as of now, only 129 cases... and 11 deaths. We are working very hard to keep these numbers as low as possible!"

March 6: "Anybody right now, and yesterday, anybody that needs a test gets a test. They're there. And the tests are beautiful.... the tests are all perfect like the letter was perfect. The transcription was perfect. Right? This was not as perfect as that but pretty good."

March 6: "I like this stuff. I really get it. People are surprised that I understand it... Every one of these doctors said, 'How do you know so much about this?' Maybe I have a natural ability. Maybe I should have done that instead of running for president."

March 6: "I don't need to have the numbers double because of one ship that wasn't our fault."

March 8: "We have a perfectly coordinated and fine tuned plan at the White House for our attack on CoronaVirus."

March 9: ""The Fake News Media and their partner, the Democrat Party, is doing everything within its semi-considerable power (it used to be greater!) to inflame the CoronaVirus situation, far beyond what the facts would warrant,"

Yep. Sadly he is right.

Its the same with any of these states who are opening back up too soon. We had this discussion the other day about TX.

Our Lt Gov wants people to die. He has said it.

Opening these stores and places up mean low wage workers. Which means minorities and they don't care about the black and brown folk.

What are they going to do, mail in their ballots to vote him out before they die? Good luck with that when there's no postal service.

Quote from the mayor of Las Vegas Carolyn Goodman (Independent, but Democrat through 2009):

Quote from: Carolyn Goodman"I am not a private owner. That's the competition in this country. The free enterprise and to be able to make sure that what you offer the public meets the needs of the public," Goodman, an independent, told CNN's Anderson Cooper.

"Right now, we're in a crisis health-wise, and so for a restaurant to be open or a small boutique to be open, they better figure it out. That's their job. That's not the mayor's job."

Doesn't have this line, but more from that mayor.

Her husband, Oscar Goodman, was mayor there too. He played DeNiro's lawyer in Casino and he's from Philadelphia.

Our local county judge (not a legal judge but some weird Texas shtein where the "mayor" of the county is called judge) is named Lina Hidalgo. We voted her in during the last blue wave. She replaced a good ol boy.

So every time she makes a declaration people who were in love with the prior Judge rip her. And the GOP lovers blast her bc she's like AOC; young and Latina and not experienced in politics. She does and has done a good job. She's science based. Unlike the pray the gay away GOP people.

Anyways - this morning she announced, like MANY other locations nationwide, a mandatory people over 10 must wear a face mask order.

The corrupt smarmy local police officer union head and the Lt Gov who wants people to die just came out and said;

"We are not asking people to wear a medical mask or an N-95 mask," Hidalgo said. "You can use an old t-shirt perhaps ... the idea is just to cover your nose and mouth."

Violations will be punishable by a fine of up to $1,000.

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick called Hidalgo's order "the ultimate government overreach."

"These kind of confused government policies fuel public anger — and rightfully so," Patrick tweeted.

The Houston Police Officers' Union called the rules "draconian," adding that they are seeking an opinion from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on whether the measure is legally sound.

"Everyone should be wearing a mask in public, I wear 1 everyday," HPOU president Joe Gamaldi said in a tweet. "But making not wearing 1 punishable by law, and asking our officers to enforce it, will do irreparable damage to our relationship with the community. We are already stretched too thin without having to enforce this."

U.S. Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Houston, warned that Hidalgo's order could "lead to unjust tyranny."

"Should guidelines for masks in confined spaces be emphatically promoted? Absolutely," Crenshaw tweeted. "But we will NEVER support 180 days in jail or $1,000 fine for not wearing a mask."

I don't think China or any other country will ever invade us because they'll be scared of the absolute insanity of Americans who are just like "welp better let the market decide if I die from a deadly disease". You just don't farg with that kind of crazy.

This is so so bad.

i feel like i posted this here but i cant remember....anyway i was reading an article the other day about a bunch of studies done on survivors in China

its a small sample size so far and more studies need to be done but the results of the early ones are pretty horrific...basically they say that while all the attention is being put on the number of deaths the studies are showing survivors with permanent lung damage where they need will need to live on ventilators the rest of their lives or if not on ventilators theirs lives are irreparably harmed...they were talking about people who used to run three miles a day and now cant walk from their living room to kitchen without losing breath and while they dont know a whole lot about this disease they know what permanent lung damage is

basically the moral of the story is dont take this thing lightly because the mortality rate is 4% and you think the chances of dying from it are tiny
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

This dude Larry Hogan getting shtein done:  just landed another Korean Airlines plane at BWI, reportedly bearing 5.9 million surgical masks (1 million Kn-95 masks), surgical gowns, facemasks, and 1000 ICU beds

In related news, Our Dear Leader demands explanation why it wasn't shot down.
