My gf is bummed out because her dad is hedging on her coming home for Christmas. She hasn't seen him in a year. We'd planned to come back and spend time with my family and then head down to Wilmington.

But since this shtein has spiked up I don't blame him for being worried. Hell three weeks ago I told her that we needed to make sure we didn't let our guard down.

This sucks. If people had don't what was needed and the corksucking loser MAGAts had taken this seriously we'd be in a better place

When they rejected the science around climate change it was easy enough to give them their space because the consequences of their position were, though grave, extremely diffuse.  You can't put actual individual deaths on red hatters who disbelieve that humans beings have caused a climate catastrophe, and must act to mitigate its effects, slow and eventually eliminate human contribution to the process, etc. 

But now they're rejecting science that doesn't just hurt kind of everyone in the broadest sense.  Now they are literally killing individual people by refusing to credit the science. 

I can't put it any simpler:  Average, everyday Republicans, not just their elected leaders, are literally killing us.

one of my co workers got married over the weekend....indoors....she posted pics in teams and there was not a mask in site. in fact had the audacity to complain about people who bailed on the wedding at the last minute, like she was gonna power through this unfairness.

i dont think shes a trumper, shes just farging stupid and selfish. thats the biggest problem in this country. even beyond the anti science maga morons we have a massive population of ignorant people who dont vote, dont care and cant comprehend and dont want to comprehend a deadly airborn virus
