The NHL has done a great job with the hand they were dealt. It's the least farcical of the restarts so far, and looks and feels a lot like legit hockey to me. The presence of fans and tweaking the playoff seeding doesn't affect the integrity of the game the way that chopping the season down by 2/3, rescheduling whole weeks on the fly, and instituting a bunch of gimmick rules does.

Unless you're there who cares about the crowd (I barely notice they're gone). It's Philly zero chance fans don't flood the regular hot spots and probably a virtual parade.
