Had an appointment in Hilo yesterday, game was on early here.  Listened to first few innings on way to airport and at airport. 1-1 at takeoff, land to see 5-2 but Harper hits the homer, ok closer.  Get car rental, customer right up the street from airport.  I tell my buyer "I apologize if I'm pissed or drop a few F bombs but Phillies are playing like ass".  He tells me "don't turn the game off, you can watch it during our meeting, this is exciting!"  I felt bad as I was presenting to three people as well, had the game on my phone on the table, muted of course, but refused to look.  On the other hand, my buyer kept looking at his phone obviously watching the game and blurts out "hey, they tied it up" and a few minutes later says "you are going to be happy!"  Only in Hawaii.

Long story sort, one of the best calls I've had in a long time. Went very well.  Need to get my ass over to Hilo more often during baseball season.

Nice work by Nola and Luzardo past two days. Rockies stink but it's still Denver and Coors Field. 

Walker tomorrow, probably better off dying eggs and counting jelly beans over watching that train wreck pitch.

The few of us left on this thread have every right to be extremely pissed off. Yes it's early. I'm sure things will get better but to go in to Denver and San Francisco and look like complete dog shtein except for two innings out the last 54, was atrocious.  And this was everybody.  Bullpen wasn't that bad, Harper sort of woke up but starting pitching, the meat head lineup, the complete lack of situational hitting, and now the defense wants to be included in the hot mess.

Had a trade show today so missed the first 7 innings.  Saw 4-0, hey ok, looks good, and two hours later, Blewzardo, comatose bats, K after K after K after K and down 5-4.
 
Walker tomorrow, 7 AM HST.  I'm sleeping in.
