joe is an utter embarrassment...genuinely bad at his job 

alvarado is melting down and he leaves him in to face taylor to groove at 3-1 fastball. just asinine.

This stretch is farging brutal
4 vs Dodgers
3 vs Padres
3 vs Dodgers
3 vs Braves
3 vs Mets
3 vs Giants
3 vs Angels
3 vs Brewers

To put it in perspective every one of those teams minus the Braves has a winning % over .600

they won the game in the 9th on: bunt hit, slow grounder off the pitchers glove, a walk via 50/50 strike 3 uncalled, wild pitch, sac fly. -- baseball is a preposterous sport. what the hell is even this?

knebel couldnt locate his curve so he went exclusively to the FB. was able to locate it at the top of the zone and bellinger/taylor couldnt do anything with it. kinda impressive he found a way to get out of the inning with 1 pitch.
