That workaround will likely involve buying Bally Sports Southwest+ to stream the games the Phillies play against the Rangers.

their goal is going to be have in-market streaming on mlbtv. theres a ton of individual contracts they have to work through and who knows what the added cost would be, but thats the goal. at some point, the individual stations have to go OTT (over the top...basically allow you to get the local station without cable)

not that anyone ever needs to watch the phillies
