this is the bumblefarg college mentality...they swept the brewers and are 5-1 vs LA. they were pantsed by the marlins on tuesday and on their way to another L before schwarber rescued them and maybe the season. the braves are the 6th best team in the NL right now. is beating them some kind of sign? i dont know. you dont know.

they need another ~20 wins and then do it in october. they were a disaster in 2022 and were 2 games shy of a title. this is not cfb, you hillbilly alabama farg

Hope Estevez figures it out. He's not Soto, Ser shtein, Alvarado, KK bad but need they need this guy.

They took 2 out of 3 from the Dodgers on the road within the last 2 weeks. Pretty sure you were at one of those games if not more? Did those not count?

They can only play who is on the schedule but it gets ridiculous to continually read on here that Ws against lower teams don't seem mean anything and games they win against good teams are seemingly ignored.

Duly noted. Will disagree on the "creepily" part. I haven't posted much here but I've been on this board since 2004 I think. I was here and read along w/ the 2008 thread. I just got tired of reading the same 'ol doom and gloom going on...again... in 2024 - simply posted a few bad takes from back in the day.

You've likely forgot more about the Phillies this morning alone than I will know... and you are usually the voice of reason around here... I just got a bit sidetracked when I saw a few doom/gloom posts from you and went back to the '08 thread to remind myself of the mood back then. That's all.

Dodgers were missing half their team and the Phillies have been trash since the schedule got tough...just be over 500 for the next three weeks and I still won't believe they can get thru the playoffs but at least I will allow homers like you to think they can
