Bar manager at the local watering hole is a big Braves fan.  He is legit scared of them facing the Phillies again.  I wished I shared his optimism about the Phillies but the bullpen is just disgusting and Nola is a steaming pile.  I don't see how they get past playoff teams with good pitching. Hope I'm wrong.

Just have to hope they cobble it together. But with Ser, Kimbrel and Soto being shtein lately it ain't looking good.

And also hope the Braves fizzle.

If I remember correctly, the Phils' bullpen went through a stinkfest about this time last year as well, then pulled it together for the playoffs.

That said, I'm not expecting a miracle run to the World Series this year, because the team is just not as good as the Braves and Dodgers.  Hope they prove me wrong, but I do not see it.

Exactly what I was talking about this morning.  It's an interesting approach to take by just loading up on streaky power hitters like they have, but if you have to score 6-7 runs every night because your pitching staff is explosive diarrhea, there's just no hope of winning anything.
