he was beyond atrocious in that game. but what he did in the rams and giants games, theres a ton of 2nd and 3rd stringers that cant do that. im not trying to defend nick foles in any other way than saying hes a halfway decent backup that is now way way way out of his element.

Sudfeld threw a 15 yard out to Marcus Johnson on Sunday that had more zip on it than any pass Foles has thrown as an Eagle. 

He's nowhere near being ready to play an NFL game much less a playoff game, though.

That was a nice pass, plus Sudfield is somewhat mobile. I never realized he was the same height as Foles. I'll stand by my prediction: Foles flops the first half, Sudfield plays the second. They still lose but whatever I'd rather take my chances with the unknown.

WHY YOU SHOULD ROOT FOR THEM: They just had their best season in over a decade ruined by an injury to their franchise quarterback. Have a heart.

WHY THEY STILL SUCK: Or don't, because Philly fans suck huge balls. God lives to strike down Philly fans just when they are at their cockiest, and I can't blame Him. Even when Philly teams lose, their fans still try to circumvent such pesky facts by inventing their own unofficial honors. That time Allen Iverson stepped over Ty Lue? Philly fans think that's an actual championship. It gets irritating. Also, the sooner Nick Foles is out of these playoffs, the better. The playoffs officially start only when all the bad QBs have been weeded out.

Wait'll Foles goes 3-11 for 49 yards and he can't escape the pressure coming from the left side of the O line. He's getting boo'd leaving the field at the half. If Doug sticks with him and he throws under 50% and 100 something yards he's going to hear shtein. Fans and press will eat him alive, it's a repeat of what we've seen the past few weeks. At least Sudfeld can scramble and complete short passes.

foles excels at short passes his ypc would rank second last in the nfl....below brett hundley...but at least qb's who can only complete high percentage passes have a high completion percentage....but nope...not our nikki...he sits at 3rd worst in the nfl...just below jacoby brissett

Sudfield was playing with back ups against Dallas's first team D and he looked better than Foles who was playing with the starters. He's also an unknown, a team would have no idea how to game plan against him. You might laugh, but look at Foles first year as a starter vs. his second.

I really hope I can come in here and eat my words but I just don't see it. Maybe if Peters was healthy they'd have a chance with a smart game plan. He's going to get boo'd after his first 3 and out. I hope Doug defers if they win the toss.
