What I learned this week is 25 of the teams stink.  Maybe more.

I was at the O's game today, closing day at home.  Took my son for his birthday present.  As the teams were changing field in the middle of the fifth, Manny threw a ball into our section and I caught it (with a glove).  Best present I could have given the kid.  I don't know who was happier, him or me.

Great day.

Afterwards, I saw the score for the Eagles game and felt a small piece of relief.  Both teams I give a shtein about, both perennial farging losers, won today, and I caught a baseball that Manny Machado threw. 

Beat that.

I picked Philly in the suicide pool this week.  I'm expecting about 80% of the pool to go out after these games.  Would've been higher if GB and NE didn't come back.
