Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

"The connection is just, again ... seeing the game ... it's just seeing it differently. The connection of not having the pressure of performing. Not putting pressure on yourself to perform. Me not asking him to go perform that particular week. You see it in practice where ... we talk all the time ... play ... on the service team (practice squad) we hold up a card that says 'run this offense' or 'run this defense' and receivers run it, and sometimes they make great plays. And you kind of scratch your head and go 'Wow, that was a pretty nice little play. Great route, great play, great catch.' So the connection there is, play like you are playing that route for us, as if it were a service team rep, as if it was a carded rep, where you are not thinking, you're just reacting to what the defense or offense presents. It's easier said than done, obviously, but that is how Nelson right now needs to attack this. That is just by playing like you are playing the service team ... but obviously you are doing it with our offense. If that makes sense. You're doing it with our offense. There is a level of sort of comfort there, knowing you can just sort of do it that way."

i dont even know what any of what he says even means....the guys a high round pick in the farging pros....he either can play or he cant and you need to find out going forward....sitting him for farging paul turner accomplishes absolutely nothing....this is the pros bitch...sink or swim

I'm trying to remember a time when I cared less about a game than this one.  I'll still watch because I'm a pathetic junky, but still, errands sounds more entertaining than this drivel.

Bengals: who dey!
Eagles: who cares?

What a lot of us overlook, is the Eagles just wrapped up the most brutal 2 1/2 month schedule in the league. Let's take a look:

2 SEP 19 WIN AT   EAGLES 29 BEARS 14 (Bad team but it was on Monday Night in Chicago)
3 SEP 25 WIN   STEELERS 3 EAGLES 34  (currently in 1st place)
5 OCT 9 LOSS AT   EAGLES 23 LIONS 24  (in Detroit who is currently in 1st place)
6 OCT 16 LOSS AT   EAGLES 20 taterskinS 27 (In Washington who has their number and is currently a playoff team)
7 OCT 23 WIN   VIKINGS 10 EAGLES 21 (was undefeated at the time and coming off a bye)
8 OCT 30 LOSS AT   EAGLES 23 COWBOYS 29 (In Dallas who was coming off a bye and the game was on prime time)
9 NOV 6 LOSS AT   EAGLES 23 GIANTS 28 (In NY who was also coming off a bye)
10 NOV 13 WIN   FALCONS 15 EAGLES 24 (Falcons were coming off 11 days rest and are currently in first place in their division)
11 NOV 20 LOSS AT   EAGLES 15 SEAHAWKS 26 (In Seattle, eI have nothing to contribute)
12 NOV 28 LOSS   PACKERS 27 EAGLES 13 (Desperate Packers team with a HOF QB playing at the top of his game)

This isn't to make excuses for the Eagles, they've regressed. The offense I'll give a slight pass because they're down to 3rd and 4th lineman, their best RB is out, and their receivers blow. But the D has really regressed. My point is no other team had to endure that brutal stretch and this team could easily be 7-5 if Dougie wasn't a moron.

seattle scored a combined 8 pts against the rams and tampa

point being no one is good in the nfl and theres no such thing as a tough schedule anymore

at the same time you are 100 percent correct in that the eagles could be 7-5 or better if a couple things changed....but thats the parity driven nfl these days and a big reason it sucks

Playing 3 straight really good teams coming off a bye - 2 on the road against division rivals who are 2 of the best teams in the leauge -  is brutal

In regards to Seattle, the Rams game was the second game of the season and on the road, and the Bucs game was also on the road...I don't need to tell you Seattle is a completely different team at home. Night and day.
