I missed the game entirely.  Had to replace oxygen sensors in my wife's car, and the lower one stripped out, so I had to run get a tap at Advance, tap the exhaust, etc.  Also had to change the handing of a chicken coop door.

Anway...all I really care about is how Wentz looked.  From what I can tell, he did well but had an INT late, probably on some kind of last gasp throw?

And you all are fighting about what, now?  Someone catch me up.

Just being the usual bitches we are.

Wentz played good, not great but good.  Couple of drops - Beckham with a real bad one in end zone.  Birds got ball back down 1 with 1:38 left and no time outs. Just needed to get in FG range and Sturgis looked good all game.  Wentz decides to air it out to Agholor downfield on the first play and picked off.  Very bad decision.  Not a last gasp throw.  They had plenty of time.

Probably his worst game but he still looked good, Wentz wagon is still rolling.

Defense sucked in the first half, offense had two turnovers in the last 2:30 that cost them the game, refs sucked. That's all you need to know.

3-1. Just pretend the results of the Steelers game and Lions game were reversed and we'd all be pretty happy.

Don Ho

True.  3 -1, we would have never believed it before week 1.

2-2 was more like the consensus.  Upcoming schedule is sickening.

I had them winning 3 the whole season. Not wrong yet.

He thought he had the big balls and chucked it deep when he didn't need to. A better pass might have been caught, but I'll take it and assume he learns not to do it.

Hey, halfway to my 6.  Fingers crossed.

I can't believe the 16-0 dream was crushed so quickly.

Did Pederson call the intercepted pass, or did Wentz?  Whoever should be chastised at the very least for thinking Agholar was the right guy to count on, nevermind double coverage, time on clock, down, etc.  Nelson farging Agholar?

It was a pass and Agholor was his third read - first two were covered so he launched it

Well yeah but with no timeouts and 1:20ish to go they're not going to run the ball

Diomedes

I'm not too upset about it, what the farg.  You have to call a play.  I just want to know who it's on.  Bad play call, game over.

I had them for 2 wins this year.  I'm already happy.  Wentz continues to give reason to hope that he's legit and Pederson isn't a train wreck.

No need to get defensive.

But really.  Let's call a play there that doesn't involve even possibly chucking the ball downfield to Nelson Agholar.  There are other options even in that situation.

INT was primarily Wentz's fault. Agholor wasnt open and he put it in a place where Slay could easily make the INT. Agholor sort of lost his footing going for the ball...some (post game radio callers who don't think anything is Wentz's fault ever) would call it a lackluster effort on his part.
