gerry is probably a ps guy especially if they are changing his position...i could see him being the 5th or 6th lb but not the 4th...no way hes one injury away from starting at lb...last year was tulloch a long time veteranbacking up ....its not going to be gerry this year

do they play that game with a 5th?

i see your point...maybe they IR him with a fake injury or keep 5 LBs and gerry is never active. goode is still on the roster.

I watched two mins of a 6 minute Gerry YouTube clip.   I think literally 4 of the first 5 plays on the highlight reel he was flagged either for helmet to helmet or taunting.   First thing that came to mind for me was McCoy redux.

The thing about the roster that leaps out at me is that the Eagles could go into next season still having total garbage at CB. Douglas has starting potential but a lot of the scouts seem to think he needs a lot of coaching, and he's dumb as a post. During the draft I saw one report, I forget where, saying he'll be ready to compete in his second year. He'll be the guy I'm most interested to see in the preseason.

Maybe. But since Fuller has only missed last year it could be fine.

the main reason for this is that hes always a step behind so instead of putting a pad on someones chest hes putting a helmet on someones head

I like the Orlosky signing. He was one of the top centers going into the draft, and with a little work could be our next starter.

ward is an interesting athlete...likely will just be a fun guy to watch in preseason and nothing more...but it was the lock of the century you were going to be all over him
